Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for Virginia Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills or a desire to develop them through mentorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.

• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.
