Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide outpatient services on a per‑diem basis. This PRN role supports the Outpatient department and follows 7am–5:30pm shifts with per diem hours.
You will assist the physical therapist in evaluation and treatment, apply modalities, supervise students when needed, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Michigan licensure and CPR certification are required.

Age Specific Responsibility Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned department. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
Summary: Provides physical therapy services as assigned by, and under the supervision of, a physical therapist. Keeps treatment skills updated through continuing education, evidence based research, and program development. Perform job responsibilities in accordance with the program’s strategic objectives and goals to carry out organizational strategic objectives.
Physical Demands: The physical ability to lift, position, and transport patients; to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, grasp, reach, and occasionally climb; ability to hear, speak, write, and see (correctable vision); ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift in excess of 75 pounds; ability to frequently push, pull, or carry weight anywhere from 1 to 100+ pounds while assisting patients and moving equipment; ability to exert up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-20 pounds of force frequently, and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
