Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Waterbury, CT is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient office. You will evaluate, plan and treat patients with varied diagnoses from neurological to orthopedic, collaborating with staff, patients and families to support functional independence.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and holds an accredited PT degree with a CT license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current CT PT license.
• Outpatient PT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help clients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
• Develops and conducts a variety of techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment appropriate to established goals.
• Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.
• Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education.

Education

The ideal candidate should be self‑motivated and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment with ongoing collaboration and communication with staff, patients, and families

Pay Range:

$39.10-$85.25 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
