Job summary

The Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Association is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to conduct specialized tests and assessments of patients. The PT will interpret findings and develop care plans based on evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, a current Nebraska physical therapy license, and a Basic Life Support certification. Experience is preferred. We are committed to equal employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Job description

The Physical Therapist (PT) conducts a variety of specialized tests and measures related to a patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, and functional capacity. The PT scores and interprets findings and utilizes this information in the development of the care plan. The PT assesses a patient's condition by evaluating their mental, emotional, and physical status related to their impairment and the physician's medical diagnosis/referral.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Current physical therapy license from the State of Nebraska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
