Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient contract assignment in the Eastern Arizona / San Carlos, AZ area. This is a full-time opportunity offering 40 hours per week, with flexibility for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient therapy services to patients with a variety of mobility, strength, balance, pain, injury recovery, and functional needs. This role is best suited for a PT with strong outpatient experience who is comfortable managing a steady daily caseload.

About This Role

This opportunity is with a community‑focused healthcare organization that provides outpatient services, physical therapy, emergency care, inpatient services, primary care, and specialty services to the local community. The physical therapy department supports patients working to improve movement, restore function, reduce pain, and return to daily activities.

The ideal candidate will be confident in an outpatient setting and able to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care while working closely with the broader clinical team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Provide outpatient physical therapy services for orthopedic, neurological, mobility, balance, pain, injury recovery, and functional conditions
  • Treat approximately 10–15 patients per day
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients on therapy goals, home exercise programs, safety, mobility, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely
  • Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications
  • Strong outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Experience treating a steady outpatient caseload preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage patient flow effectively
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team‑oriented
License and Certification Requirements
  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program required
  • Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required
  • PT Compact license/privilege accepted, if eligible
  • BLS certification required
  • Must be eligible to work in an outpatient physical therapy setting
