Accounting Search is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Cayuga/Monter Falls area. You will provide hands-on rehabilitation, conduct evaluations, and develop individualized plans for a diverse patient population in an outpatient clinic.

You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, pursue professional development, and contribute to quality-of-life improvements. A DPT and state licensure are required, with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care for orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 30 pounds independently and more with assistance.

What You’ll Do:

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional care to patients in an outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Administering various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, and electrical stimulation), and patient education.

• Educating patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes.

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals.

• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards.

• Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.

• Licensure:Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.

• Education:A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.

• Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Skills:Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Patient Care:Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for a wide range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.

• Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving patients during treatment sessions.
