Job summary

Axes Physical Therapy’s High Ridge Clinic is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, helping them restore movement and reach recovery goals in a patient‑centered, collaborative environment.

You will document care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and stay current with professional development while upholding APTA ethics and standards at a high‑quality clinic in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible Physical Therapy license in Missouri.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in alignment with Axes' core values and standards.
• Evaluate patients per physician orders and create treatment plans.
• Complete documentation promptly (evaluations, notes, discharges).
• Collaborate with healthcare team and communicate patient progress.
• Maintain a safe, professional clinical environment and confidentiality.
• Contribute to program development and education initiatives.
• Adhere to APTA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist at Axes, you'll evaluate and treat patients in accordance with our high standards of care and ethical practice. You'll play a key role in helping our patients restore movement, improve quality of life, and reach their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver care in alignment with Axes' 8 Core Values
• Collaborate as an integral member of the healthcare team
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and physician information
• Stay current with professional development and continuing education
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment
• Evaluate patients per physician orders and provide evidence-based treatment plans
• Complete all documentation promptly and accurately (evaluations, daily notes, discharges, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with referral sources regarding patient progress
• Supervise support staff and delegate tasks appropriately
• Contribute to the development and delivery of new programs and services
• Adhere to APTA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
• Maintain a patient treatment schedule aligned with clinic and leadership expectations
• Respect patient rights and encourage involvement in care decisions
• Support clinic growth through relationship‑building and professional contributions, such as annual article submissions

• Active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Missouri
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
