Renown Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver comprehensive services to pediatric through geriatric patients across the health system. You will evaluate, plan, implement and discharge rehab care, while supervising assistants and technicians under medical direction.
Role involves interchangeably providing services among facilities based on census and needs, and may include program development and outcome measurement.
This position is accountable for providing quality Physical Therapy services under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, Manager and, ultimately, the Director of Rehabilitation Therapies. This individual provides comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in therapy settings across the health system, including their families/caregivers. Services include, but are not limited to, comprehensive evaluation and treatment of gait and transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training and comprehensive wound care.
The incumbent must provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in all therapy settings. This position conducts evaluations, develops appropriate plan of care, and provides rehabilitation services through time of discharge from the facility. This position is responsible for the direct clinical supervision of staff physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians.
Therapist is expected to provide services interchangeably among "like facilities." For example, acute care staff may float between inpatient hospital settings, while post-acute staff may provide services within various post-acute facility settings based upon census and business needs.
At times, this position may be asked to participate in program development and outcome measurements in the clinical setting.
Per diem staff is required to work at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday each year. Major holidays are defined as Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Minor holidays are defined as New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. If an area is closed on major holidays, the requirement is to work at least 1 day the week of the holiday period.
