Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a South Carolina license is required.
• No experience required; 1–2 years of applicable clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina (SC).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required prior to first clinical shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services across neonate to geriatrics within orthopaedic rehab.
• Contribute to rehabilitation service improvement initiatives and follow departmental policies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

The professional Physical Therapist is essential to the function of the rehabilitation services department, by providing Physical Therapy services to populations that range from neo-nate to geriatrics. The Physical Therapist contributes to service line improvement projects, and conducts work activities according to departmental policy and procedure. The scope of these activities is defined by the rehabilitation service processes, which successfully integrate the organizational vision, mission and values. The Physical Therapist will act as an interdisciplinary team member in the provision of services.

Position Requirements

Education

• Ability to obtain a South Carolina license.

Experience

• No experience required; however 1-2 years of applicable clinical experience preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
