Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Outpatient in Garland, TX seeks a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team. The therapist will treat post-operative and general orthopedic conditions, sports, and work-related injuries, building strong relationships with the community and referral sources.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, managing a 10-12 patient daily load, accurate TherapEBridge documentation, and interpreting medical data.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Patient case load: 10-12 patients per day.
• Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients and families as needed.

Seeking full time ortho physical therapist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team. Therapist would treat a variety of diagnoses including post op, general orthopedic conditions, sports, and work comp. Therapist must be comfortable building relationships within the community and with referral sources.
