Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist (Ortho) for outpatient settings. This full-time role focuses on general orthopedics, post-ops, and neuro gait/balance, with a brand-new campus on Baylor University Medical Center.

The ideal candidate has manual therapy skills, is energetic and growth-minded, and engages in advanced certifications and program expansion. Clinic hours vary 7A-7P Mon-Thu and 7A-5P Fri.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
• Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Responsibilities

Join our dynamic and growing team of 16 PTs and 2 OTs in our brand new facility on the Baylor University Medical Center campus! Our patient population consists of general orthopedics, post-ops, multi-trauma, sports and weekend warriors, pelvic and abdominal health, TMD, Bell’s palsy, high level neuro (primarily gait and balance), and peripheral vestibular diagnoses. Ideal ortho PT will be energetic, self-motivated, adaptable, passionate about lifelong learning and advanced certification, and committed to program expansion. Manual therapy skills required. Clinic hours vary from 7A-7P Monday-Thursday and 7A-5P on Fridays.
