Job summary

HTU seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver high‑quality home health care in Hawaii, focusing on geriatric patients. You will perform evaluations, create individualized plans, and provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes.

Responsibilities include gait training, balance, strengthening, transfers, endurance, pain management, and fall prevention, plus recommending devices and home safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Home health or geriatric experience preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-Time W-2 salary option: $92,000–$110,000 annually, with increases based on patient volume.
• Tiered per-visit pay ranging from $55 to $85 depending on visit type and caseload.
• Full-Time 1099 option with annual earning potential up to $145,000.
• Part-Time and PRN pay rates available with minimum patient caseloads.
