The role is per diem/PRN with on-site work and involves direct patient care, education, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.

• Performs evaluation(s) and develops an effective treatment plan appropriate to a patient's rehabilitation needs within the care continuum.
• Performs effective treatment techniques in a competent manner.
• Educates patient/family/caregiver in applicable health information, treatment and prevention.

• Performs other department activities such as documentation, billing, support of department operations.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
