Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in physical therapy from a credentialed institution.
• Valid state physical therapy license and ABPTS certification as an Orthopedic or Sports Clinical Specialist (O/SCS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain clinical practice privileges.
• Background check to meet installation access requirements and NPRNet account.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals.
• Provide direct support to TACP Operations and Support personnel with documentation and referrals.
• Participate in meetings with the TACP Commander to review patient care and improvement opportunities.
• Perform manual therapy, dry needling, Graston Technique, and functional taping.
• Keep the Human Performance program current through reviews of equipment, products, and literature.
• Assist in preparing short- and long-term fiscal plans.
• Meet the physical demands of TACP training, including hiking and lifting up to 20 kg.

Job Description

Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) seeks a qualified, trained, and capable professional to serve as a Physical Therapist/Injury Manager (PT/IM) for the 165th Air Support Operations Squadron in Savannah, GA 31408.

Major Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals.
• Provide direct support to Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Operations and Support personnel, including musculoskeletal injury case management, ordering imaging studies, laboratory tests, basic pharmaceuticals, and referrals to specialty providers, with consistent and required documentation.
• Participate in periodic meetings with the TACP Commander and other unit personnel to review patient care and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, Graston Technique soft tissue mobilization, and functional taping.
• Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to keep the Human Performance program current.
• Assist in preparing short‑ and long‑term fiscal plans.
• Meet the physical demands of TACP training, including hiking over rough terrain, assisting with strength and conditioning testing, and lifting up to 20 kg.

Skills and Certifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in physical therapy from a credentialed institution.
• Valid state physical therapy license and board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as an Orthopedic or Sports Clinical Specialist (O/SCS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain clinical practice privileges.
• Background check to meet installation access requirements and NPRNet account.

Qualifications and Credentials

• Additional credential as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Sports Performance Coach through USAWA.
• Certified soft‑tissue specialist (e.g., Licensed Massage Therapist) or equivalent provider of manual therapy.
• Experience working with elite, tactical, or professional level athletes.
• Documented experience providing human performance, rehabilitative, or athletic conditioning services directly within a U.S. Military Special Operations unit.
• Previous experience with the Tricare Medical System is highly desired for the IM position.
