Parkland Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, invites a Physical Therapist II to join our rehabilitation team in Derry, NH. You will assess patient needs, design customized therapy plans, and collaborate with physicians to improve mobility and function after illness, injury, or surgery.

As part of the HCA family, you will grow professionally through advanced rehabilitation technology, peer mentorship, and ongoing education, while delivering compassionate care and supporting family involvement

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and alleviate pain.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes accurately and timely.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team

• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life

• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes

• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence

• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery

• Leading by example- mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare's values of excellence, compassion, and integrity

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
