Job summary

Qualifications

• Grad from an accredited physical therapy program; licensure required.
• Post-2016 licensure requires Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Experience completing internship or apprenticeship preferred (1-2 years).

Responsibilities

• Complete billing sheet daily and document treatment plans.
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans for maximum benefit.
• Perform patient assessments and establish care plans.
• Provide in-service education for nursing staff as needed.
• Document goals and progress and plan for reevaluation.
• Discuss evaluation and goals with patients and families.
• Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement.
• Supervise PTAs per policy and state regulations.
