Johns Hopkins Medicine in White Marsh is seeking a Physical Therapist I (Orthopedic) to evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic conditions. Working under clinical leadership, you will develop treatment plans to restore mobility and function.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in quality improvement projects, and uphold the hospital's goals while supporting excellent patient care. MD licensure and AHA CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience required.
• Successful completion of clinical internships during academic training.
• Maryland licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective evaluations to assess patients' physical and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to optimize patient function.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient-centered goals and outcomes.
• Participate in service, department, and hospital improvement projects to enhance patient care.
• Uphold and operationalize the goals and objectives of the Hospital within the care setting.

Position: Physical Therapist I (Orthopedic)

Shift: Full-Time - 40 hours per week - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Physical Therapist I evaluates, treats, and manages patients with physical limitations and medical conditions under the supervision of clinical leadership. Using evidence-based techniques, the PT I prescribes and implements treatment plans to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential. The PT I collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and aligns their practice with the Hospital's goals and objectives.

Work Experience

• Orthopedic experience required


• Successful completion of required clinical internships during academic training.

Education and Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.


• Licensure by the State of Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.


• Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification.
