Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking aPhysical Therapist for Pelvic Health/Orthopedic Outpatient Rehab in Columbia, MD. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement therapy programs and document progress.

Responsibilities include patient education, clinical documentation, and contributing to professional growth and research. Must have PT degree and MD licensure, CPR, and ideally 1 year pelvic health experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• 1 year PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pelvic health and outpatient rehab.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan/treat therapy programs.
• Document treatment plans and patient education for patients, families, staff and students.
• Provide education and contribute to clinical research and education.
• Support professional growth and collaboration to optimize patient care.

Physical Therapist - Pelvic Pelvic Health/Ortho Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehab - Columbia, MD

• Provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy

• Provides documentation of the above and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students

• To participate in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one’s self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education

• Ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development contribution to the Medical Center

Education:

• Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic program.

Required Licensure,Certification, Etc.:

• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist required.

• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Location: Columbia, Maryland

Shift - Full-time 40 hours per week

Experience:

• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience preferred

• Knowledge Pelvic Health

• Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program

Salary Range: Minimum $34.62/hour - Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
