Job summary

MSA Home Health, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health in Melbourne, FL. This part-time/PRN position involves providing professional PT services to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities include implementing treatments per the plan of care, monitoring progress, and communicating findings to patients and family. Home Health experience is preferred, and CPR certification, a valid FL license, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in FL required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Minimum of one year verifiable physical therapy experience (Home Health preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to home health patients in accordance with the plan of care.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify plans as directed by physician orders.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to patients, family and staff.

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in treatment plan.
• Treats clients to relieve pain, develop and restore function and maintain maximum performance using appropriate physical therapy treatments and procedures within the plan of care.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment as indicated in accordance with physician's orders.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to patients, family and other staff members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of FL.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year verifiable physical therapy experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
