Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain physical wellbeing, reducing pain and improving quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, develop care plans, and provide direct treatments while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include meeting productivity standards, documenting progress, and ensuring orders are correct. Strong communication and patient-centered care are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Accredited physical therapy degree required and board eligibility or CA PT license.
• CA PT license must be obtained within 6 months or already held; prior PT student/intern experience acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire; valid driver license in CA; auto insurance required.

• Demonstrates competency in patient care during field observation by the clinical supervisor.
• Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines.
• Ensures physician orders are present and written correctly.
• Documents follow up of identified problems.

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.
Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Job Requirements

Required

• Completed an accredited physical Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA PT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA PT License and Previous experience as a PhysicalTherapist or Physical Therapist student/ intern, upon hire
• Physical Therapist: CA, within 6 - months
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Driver's License: CA, upon hire
• Auto Insurance, upon hire
