Job summary

Theracare INC in Fort Wayne is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. In this PRN position, you will evaluate and treat patients using various therapeutic procedures to improve movement and function.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy and be registered with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board. A minimum of one year of rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board required.
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment.
• Work as part of a team providing support in Physical Therapy.

This is PRN for the Fort Wayne area

The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Physical Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
