Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed physical therapist to consult with patients, review medical history, diagnose movement dysfunction, and develop individualized treatment plans in a clinical setting in California. The role involves coaching patients in therapeutic massage, maintaining records, using assessments, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The position may include supervising assistants and contributing to trainings.

Qualifications

• Active State Licensure is required to practice.
• Able to supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides and/or students.
• Knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move.
• Develop individualized treatment plan.
• Coach patient and teach them therapeutic massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing.
• Maintain patient record by keeping track of goals.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assess patients progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on outcomes.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
