Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will assess patients, plan and implement treatment, and work with rehab staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will educate patients and families on home exercise programs, document progress, and contribute to discharge planning while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Previous rehab setting experience preferred.
• Current PT license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with rehab teams and participate in discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
