Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state South Carolina license.
• CPR certification.
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.
• Responsible individual with a solid work ethic.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the physician's referral and medical records to determine the required physical therapy treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals, and a comprehensive program to attain goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
