Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and help patients regain mobility and independence.

You will supervise PT aides and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to community outreach while ensuring adherence to state regulations and the APTA code of ethics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Current TN Physical Therapist (PT) license and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
  • Basic PC skills including EMR, databases, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations assessing ROM, strength, posture, ambulation, balance, and ADLs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
  • Interact professionally with patients, family members, and staff.
  • Supervise PT Assistants, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, ATCs, and students in patient care.
  • Ensure supervised personnel carry out treatments as outlined in evaluations.
  • Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities.
  • Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
  • Adhere to state practice act regulations and APTA code of ethics.
  • Must have degree from accredited institution and be licensed as TN PT.

Job Description

  • Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
  • Adhere to state practice act regulations and the American Physical Therapy Association code of ethics.
  • Must have a degree from an accredited educational institution and be licensed as a Physical Therapist in TN
