University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time rotating shifts. You will evaluate patients, design and carry out individualized treatment plans, and document progress in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs, educate families, and deliver care across age groups in a busy hospital setting.
The Physical Therapist I functions independently and consistently in the delivery of quality care to patients requiring physical therapy in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, department policies and procedures, and standards of practice. Evaluates patients, plans and implements treatment programs, and documents all treatment accurately. Works in conjunction with other members of the health care team to ensure patient needs are met. Educates patients and families. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.
One year of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas; or obtained within three months of hire.
Current CPR required.
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or equivalent education if trained outside of U.S. required.
