Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital - Palm Beach in Palm Beach is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit, housed inside Select Specialty Hospital. The role offers full-time schedule with compensation of $42.36 - $57 per hour based on experience, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise PTs and students, and contribute to discharge planning while supporting career growth through tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Document according to department policies.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.

• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as supervising PT and PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• State Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Certified BLS: Possess Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
