Job summary

Select Medical's TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to perform patient assessments, develop and adjust treatment plans, and supervise PT and PTA students. Responsibilities include discharge planning, education, and ongoing quality improvement within a collaborative inpatient setting.

You will contribute to a comprehensive patient care program emphasizing brain injuries, spinal injuries, and orthopedic needs, with a strong support system

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Certified BLS or obtain within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient- and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning for each patient and educate patient/family.
• Supervise PT Assistants and PT/ PTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient response and modify treatment as needed.
• Complete documentation per department policies.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• State Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
