Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across a range of conditions, focusing on restoring strength, mobility and function. The role will primarily serve the Gorham outpatient clinic with potential to float to other facilities at least two days per week.

The anticipated hourly range is $42.29 to $52.87 and $57.10/hr for higher skilled scenarios; final compensation depends on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program.
• Currently licensed to practice Physical Therapy in NH.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and complex-medical conditions to improve strength, ROM, endurance, and function.
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Gorham, NH, with potential to float to other facilities at least 2 days per week.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activity to achieve maximum functional recovery.

Job description

This position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $10,000.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.

Job Summary

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, complex-medical, and other diagnoses that affect a person’s strength, range of motion, endurance, and overall function. The Staff Physical Therapist will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible. Outpatient Physical Therapist for the NCH system that would be working out of the Gorham outpatient clinic but would be willing to float to other facilities at least 2 days per week.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $42.29/hr - $52.87 /hr - $57.10/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Essential Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program and hold minimally a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Must hold a current and valid Physical Therapy practice license granted from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions.
