Vitruvian Health in Georgia seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in outpatient settings. You will develop and implement treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with licensed staff and payors as needed to authorize services.
The PT will supervise Rehab Care Aides while ensuring high quality care and a clean, efficient rehabilitation environment for patients of all ages.

Physical therapist are movement experts who are responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, and all necessary documentation of all assigned patients of all age populations within the outpatient setting whom have medical problems or injury that limit ability to move or function in daily life. Physical therapist is responsible for appropriate delegation of patient cases to licensed Physical therapy assistant (PTA) with appropriate follow‑up. Therapist may also participate in communications and reviews with patient’s payor source in order to obtain authorization for services. Therapists will be responsible for coordinating with any healthcare professionals that are working with their patients and referring patients to specialists when appropriate and assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Provides oversight of Rehab Care Aides in inpatient or outpatient setting. Other tasks as assigned.
Works inside a typical physical therapy treatment setting as well as on patient floors or in outpatient clinic. May be required to work a flexible schedule. Exposure to hazardous chemicals and equipment found in a typical therapy setting. May work in outpatient department, inpatient department, or other community events. Rotates weekend / holiday coverage for Department.
Required to display characteristics consistent with registration requirements and ethical practice in Physical Therapy. Substantial amount of walking required. Frequent lifting, bending and reaching required. Moderate amount of stress.
