Sigma Health Rehab, a premier provider of rehabilitation services in New York, seeks a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Haverstraw. You will evaluate residents, design rehabilitation plans, and help restore independence through evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities include supervising physical therapy assistants, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Experience in skilled nursing/geriatric care preferred; new grads with fieldwork encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents' conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members.
