MedStar Health in Centreville, MD area is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services including evaluation, treatment planning, and re-evaluation across multiple settings. You will contribute to program planning, protocol development, and patient-centered outcomes.

This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, thorough documentation, discharge planning, and active participation in continuing education and mentoring of students and staff.

Formación

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Maryland, DC, or Virginia PT licensure as applicable.
• Current CPR (BLS/NRP) certification within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provides evaluation services including review of history, assessments and documentation.
• Implements treatment protocols and revises plans based on patient progress.
• Completes discharge planning with thorough documentation for care continuity.
• Manages schedule efficiently and maintains productivity with professional conduct.
• Participates in multidisciplinary quality teams and hospital committees.
• Pursues ongoing education and mentors students and new staff.
