Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers in Stamford, CT. The role involves delivering therapy in natural environments and collaborating with families to integrate motor goals into daily routines.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals, document services, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• CT license and registration as a Physical Therapist (required).
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Experience with infants and toddlers preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric development and early intervention practices.

Responsibilities

Our mission is to help children from birth to age 3 reach developmental milestones through individualized, evidence-based physical therapy. We are currently seeking Physical Therapists who are passionate about pediatric therapy and early developmental care.

Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide therapy services to infants and toddlers experiencing gross motor delays. Therapy is delivered in natural environments such as homes or community settings, and emphasizes collaboration with families to support carryover into daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct physical therapy services to children ages 0-3.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with IFSP goals.
• Coach families on home-based strategies to promote motor development.
• Document all services in compliance with CT Early Intervention program standards.
• Attend IFSP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Adjust therapy plans based on child progress and feedback.

Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines.
