Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking an Advanced Specialty Physical Therapist, Lymphedema PT for our Outpatient Rehab program. The role requires advanced training, PA licensure, and demonstrated competency in LT areas to provide expert, patient-focused care.

You will collaborate with physicians and the rehab team, support individualized care plans, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes. The position is a 0.6 FTE across Riddle and Newtown Square outpatient locations with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License required.
• Certifications in ATP, Pelvic Floor, Lymphedema, or Hand Therapy as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource within the specialty and collaborate with physicians and the rehab team.
• Maintain timely follow-up and communications with patients and providers.
• Support high-quality outpatient rehab care and patient outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing education and certification to advance specialty practice.

The Advanced Specialty Physical Therapist is an experienced Physical Therapist who demonstrates advanced training, knowledge, and competency beyond entry-level practice within a designated clinical specialty. This therapist holds the appropriate certification or demonstrated competency required for their specialty area, which may include Assistive Technology (ATP), Pelvic Floor Therapy, Lymphedema Therapy (CLT-LANA), or Hand Therapy (CHT). The Advanced Specialty Therapist serves as a clinical resource within their area of expertise and, when applicable, develops and maintains strong relationships with physicians, vendors, and other partners. This role requires independent communication, collaboration, and timely follow-up to support high-quality patient care.

Position:

Advanced Specialty Physical Therapist, Lymphedema Physical Therapist

Shift:

0.6 FTE (24-hour) Physical Therapist position for Riddle Outpatient Rehab + Newtown Square Outpatient Rehab

Experience:

Minimum of 1 Year of Physical Therapist experience required. 4 Years of experience preferred.

Education:

4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required. Master's or Doctorate preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License PT (Physical Therapist) required

One or more of the following certifications required, applicable to the area of specialty:

• -Assistive Technology Specialist: Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification
• -Pelvic Floor Therapist: Successful completion of Herman and Wallace Levels 2a and 2b at a minimum or APTA level 1 and 2 Pelvic Heath
• -Lymphedema Specialist: CLT certification through LANA, Norton, or KLOSE.
• -Certified Hand Therapist: CHT Certification through American Society of Hand Therapists
