What you will do in this role:

  1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
  2. Implement the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, aiding patients with physical or mental impairments to participate in tasks that restore and enhance performance
  3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges to records
  4. Document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards
  5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff on follow-through programs
  6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
  7. Handle responsibilities in compliance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, professional standards, and applicable laws
  8. Perform other duties as assigned
  9. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program with an Associate Degree
  10. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent where services are provided
  11. CPR certification if required
