Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Valid Massachusetts PTA license or eligibility.
  • Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary orthopedic setting.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to teamwork and professional growth.

  • Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities.

  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies.

Boston Orthopaedic & Spine is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our new outpatient orthopedic team.

Position Overview

You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists, orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and therapy colleagues in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Apply appropriate modalities and manual techniques to support recovery and pain management.

  • Observe, measure, and document patient progress, and communicate updates and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive clinic culture focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.


Qualifications:
