The role requires CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT training, current licensure, CPR and ability to lift 50 lbs. Teamwork, time management and active listening are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong teamwork, time management and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled PTA treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards and Medicare regulations.
