Job summary

GrandCare Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy across West LA. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized care, focusing on orthopedic rehab and post-surgical recovery, in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Valid California PTA license is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• 1+ years PTA experience, home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on PT treatments to relieve pain and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training and transfers.
• Apply heat, cold, ultrasound, and massage as prescribed.
• Educate on use of mobility devices and safety at home.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Communicate progress and changes to the supervising PT.
