Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Team in the Tri-State area. You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and other conditions, and work with an interdisciplinary team to enhance functional outcomes.

This role offers mentorship for new graduates, a supportive environment, and flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible for Connecticut State PTA license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduates encouraged to apply — mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Play a direct role in helping patients return to their highest level of independence.
