Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support school-based therapy across Westchester County. The role involves collaborating with DPT, designing individual and group interventions for children on your caseload, and coordinating with school personnel.

This position offers flexible hours, Monday through Friday in line with the school calendar, with compensation of $55 to $65 per hour. Some openings may be full-time or part-time based on caseload; interview will clarify details.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current New York State PTA license.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DPT to design and implement therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Details about this opportunity:

Location: School District placements across Westchester County

Status: 1-5 days available

Hours: Monday-Friday, following school calendar. Flexible scheduling!

Compensation: $55-$65/hour

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition, the position posted may be either full-time or part-time, depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**
