Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN to support our inpatient population at 19770 Kingsland Blvd, Houston, TX 77094. The ideal candidate will hold a PTA license in the state and have a flexible schedule.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA will create and implement individualized treatment plans and help advance services across PAM Health facilities. Inpatient experience and current BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• PTA license valid in the state where employed.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, plan and implement individualized treatment programs.
• Contribute to development of services within the PAM Health system.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The Physical Therapist Assistant will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.

• Education and Training: PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
