Job summary

Twin Fountains Nursing and Rehabilitation in Georgia is actively hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. You will provide patient care under supervision and contribute to positive outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license in Georgia and meets the education requirements, with CPR training preferred. We offer a flexible schedule and competitive per diem compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s daily participation and progress on progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the PT.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines
