Job summary

Twin Fountains Nursing and Rehabilitation in Georgia is currently hiring a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). We are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic therapist to join our AMAZING rehab team!

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state (GA) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s daily participation and progress on progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the PT.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines
