Preftherapy is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Glens Falls, NY. The role supports the PTS team and focuses on helping residents regain independence in a 120-bed facility near Lake George.

The ideal candidate has SNF experience, holds a PTA license or is license eligible in New York, and can work weekday coverage. Strong teamwork, documentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic records are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in sub-acute/skilled nursing facility settings with PTA skills.
• Ability to document accurately using electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
• Teamwork and flexible scheduling for per diem coverage.

This is a 120-bed facility with a 40 bed "Passport to Home Unit". The therapy department consists of a caring team of strong clinicians who work well together to achieve positive outcomes for the patients. The therapists focus on returning people to the community as well as keeping our long-term Residents functioning at their maximum functional potential.
