Job Details

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (In-house Skilled Nursing Facility)

Location: Hudson, OH

Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose

Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Physical Therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care, following applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
2. Conduct resident screenings and assist in evaluations.
3. Help develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals.
4. Perform individual and group treatments, including exercises and modalities.
5. Monitor resident responses and adjust interventions as needed.
6. Assist in resident schedule planning and staff training.
7. Participate in education for residents, families, and staff.
8. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with CMS and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the practicing state.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
