ABL Health Care in California is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team serving the Gilroy area. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and help improve mobility and quality of life in collaboration with our Clinical Director and staff.

This role offers dedicated clinical support, opportunities to travel within a 15–25 mile radius, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• California PTA license is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health care.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel 15–25 miles regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the scope of care per patient plan.
• Administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, report changes to the appropriate clinicians.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and document using company device.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Health Care to join our dedicated team and provide exceptional care throughout the region. As a PTA, you will evaluate patients’ physical health, develop individualized treatment plans, and work to improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. You will collaborate closely with our Clinical Director and Clinical Staff, ensuring the highest standards of care while providing support both remotely and independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the scope of care, following the patient’s individualized plan, in coordination with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and report signs/symptoms signaling a change in patient condition to Physician, Case Manager, and/or as needed Director of Nursing.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and submit documentation according to company policy using a company-provided device.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License to practice in California - Required
• Experience in Home Health care - 1 Year Required
• Current CA Driver’s License.
• Able to travel within a 15 - 25 mile radius on a regular basis.
