Job summary

Vital Therapy in Brownfield, Texas is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team at Brownfield Rehabilitation & Care. You will work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to residents with orthopedic and neurological needs.

The PTA will help develop gait, strengthening, balance, and functional maintenance programs and participate in ongoing training as we build an outpatient program.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Experience or interest in geriatric rehab in skilled nursing settings is preferred.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services to residents as part of the in-house therapy team.
• Develop gait, strengthening, balance, and functional maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with a high-energy, interdisciplinary team; participate in ongoing training and career development.
• Support development of an outpatient therapy program.

Brownfield Rehabilitation & Care, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a Full Time Physcial Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek a PTA who is passionate about delivering the best care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy inter-disciplinary therapy team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer you opportunities to develop programs in gait, strengthening, balance, functional maintenance, and creative fun groups. In addition, we provide on-going training and career development opportunities and are in the process of building an outpatient program. PRN schedules also available!
