Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Worcester, MA. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will assist in delivering physical therapy services to a general rehab caseload.

This full-time position offers weekly pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for career advancement. Applicants should have an Associate's Degree in PTA, state licensure, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Worcester with $5k sign-on bonus!

Join our dynamic team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in the provision of physical therapy services to our patients, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.

Education & Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

• CEU's per state licensure requirements

• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required

• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required

• Newly licensed therapists welcome!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Participate in clinical program development and implementation

• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers

• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor

• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis

• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field

Specific Requirements:

• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary

• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care

• Requires intense attention and concentration

• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others

• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds

• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
