FULL TIME PTA POSITION AVAILABLE - MUST HAVE 2 YEAR ASSOCIATES DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT PROGRAM, PASSED THE NPTE EXAM AND HAVE THE PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE TO PRACTICE IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the care center.
• Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease and infection from patients and specimens in working environment.
• Incumbent may be required to work extended periods of time at a video display terminal.
• Incumbent may experience traumatic situations, including psychiatric, and deceased patients.
