Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a healthcare team in Waukon, Iowa for a 13-week contract. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with weekly compensation of $1,400.00–$1,404.00.

You will implement care plans, document progress in Net Health, and collaborate with supervisors to meet patient goals. Eligible candidates must graduate from an APTA-accredited PTA program, hold an Iowa PTA license, and maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and active Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist's established plan of care.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and direct patient care to restore mobility and function.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and response to therapy accurately using the Net Health charting system.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and goals.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and professional ethics standards set by the facility and state board.
